"This was my first time at an ALPFA National Convention. It was a memorable event, both motivating and inspiring. New relationships were made and existing ones were strengthened. The networking has provided personal guidance and professional nurturing to look beyond the horizon. One of the most wonderful lessons I learned is that 'I am not alone.' A fellow coworker of mine, who was an active member of the ALPFA New Jersey Board, convinced me to attend the 2006 ALPFA Convention in Fort Worth, TX. She introduced me to everyone she knew, including the Board members. I immediately felt welcomed into the ALPFA family and most importantly, felt the leadership, teamwork and passion of the ALPFA New Jersey Board.
